Laura's 6th b-day

Laura turned 6 last week.  She had breakfast in bed, then after openings gifts decided to finish eating at the table.  Smart girl.

We took her bowling for the first time.  In fact, Annie is the only kid with any memory of bowling.  Anyway, it was a rainy day and we didn't want to sit around doing nothing.

Laura's gifts were the jacket and shirt, for her cosplay of River Song from Doctor Who.
She also got a holster and gun to complete the look, River's sonic screwdriver and journal full of spoilers.
She didn't want any real lunch so we made do with bowling alley snacks of fries and nachos and soda.

Because it was a rainy day, softball was cancelled!!  We also skipped swim team in favor of an evening in.

Even though the general theme was Doctor Who, her cake was not.  She told us kinda last minute that she wanted. Frozen cake, so we did our best.
We had to do the piñata the next day.
I still can't believe she is six!  When did that happen?

That means we've been friends a long, long time. Happy Birthday, Laura! I remember your chubby, little, baby self.
