Santa Cruz

For Sarah's birthday we went to Santa Cruz.  We walked the pier, camped in the mountains, rode lots of rides, 3 very silly people went on the Fright Walk, we ate delicious clam chowder, or refused to, depending on the person and had lots of fun.
I suppose we were fortunate that it was overcast and very misty while we were there.  It kept the crowds away and no one complained about being hot.

Annie's career goal when she was little was to drive  a Pepsi truck.  She can check that one off now.

The last day had awesome weather.  The sun shone and we had a lovely time playing at the beach.

Annie took a surfing lesson for her graduation present

That is her second from the left with her legs up!

After two hours, she was mega tired.  After returning the board, she fell asleep on a towel!
We had a fantastic few days.  Sarah got her fill of rides plus she and Emma tried boogie boarding.  Annie is wanting to get back out in the water. We only got a little sunburned and had a lot of fun.
