For Sarah's 6th birthday, she started with breakfast in bed. Then Howard and I took her to see Brave in 3D. After the movie we packed up the family for a picnic at Micke Grove and went on the rides there for a few hours. In the evening, she played with her new toys and got to stay up an extra hour.

She didn't want a cake, especially with it being hot, so instead Howard made cookie sandwiches with chocolate chip cookies and mint chip ice cream Sarah loved it, even though she couldn't eat it all.
The next week she had a friends party with some kids from church and her Nelson cousins, and Grandma and Grandpa. They played with light sabers on the trampoline, had a pool noodle javelin toss, threw water balloons, played headbands, and a memory tray game, and of course, a pinata filled with candy. Since candy is Sarah's life, she had a Kit Kat cake with M&M's on top. It was so sweet a few bites were enough!
I am pretty sure she had an awesome 6th birthday, since she told us so multiple times.
