Its my birthday, and I'll cry if I want to

Okay, I don't really feel like crying, but its not my birthday until tomorrow.  So what I'll do is list the reasons being in your 30's is better than being in your 20's.

1.  Its much easier to speak your mind.

Yeah, I can't really think of anything else.  My memory is shot already, and my focus is all over the place.  I am tired and I can't stay up late like I used to.  I can't lose weight anymore and my feet hurt.  Hooray for getting older.

Happy Birthday!

I've got another one for your list... In your 30's your kids are older (or at least some of them) and can be more help around the house. That doesn't happen as much in your 20s unless you have kids when you're in your teens, but that's not much fun either... (Of course I'm towards the end of my 30s and I still don't have one old enough to babysit, but that's what I get for being a late bloomer I suppose.)

30's are better because you are ENTITLED to have grey hairs, have a tummy pooch, and eat your cake first (after all, you've only got 40-something more years to start with dessert).

What, I missed your birthday? Totally lame....can I count the bag that I helped you make as a gift?
