Monkey bread

Today was the first day of General Conference.  As per tradition, we had monkey bread.  This time, Howard woke up early and started it.  It was ready when I finally arose to greet the world.  He followed the recipe on the biscuit package and the result was incredible.

Look at the gooey yummy-ness.  This, with some milk.  Watching conference at home, listening to our leaders.  It was a good combination.  If anyone wants to tune in tomorrow, I think you can find it on www.lds.org.  or watch BYU-tv if you get it.

I just put Pioneer Woman's cinnamon roll dough in the fridge. Can't wait for tomorrow!

I remember when Edie Brown told me about monkey bread back in the 80's. Our family loved it. Then Heather came over for conference when David was on his mission (i think) and she thought it was a conference tradition, and so it has become. Yummy and easy. Wasn't conference awesome?

We will never have monkey bread for two reasons, 1)I don't like when my hands are dirty, 2) Mark does not like or care about it all that much.

Looks delicious... Too bad I didn't see it earlier or I might have watched conference at your house. All we had was gummy bears and pink wafer cookies (sugar free no less)...

Someday, "a remnnant will return," but so far there's no itch needing to be scratched.

Glad that you guys like it though.

Wow, that looks soooo yummy Howard! Good work. We also enjoyed some Monkey Bread during conference. My little monkeys couldn't get enough of it. -One of my favorite Nelson traditions! :)
