Still pregnant

In answer to all those folks who need to ask personal questions at the grocery store: Yes, I know I am huge. I am as uncomfortable as I look. No, there aren't twins in there. Yes, I am happy its a boy, as happy as I was that each other child was a girl. Yes, I will probably make it to my due date. Yes, I realize babies cry and prevent sleep; this is my 5th kid, I hope I know that. No, I am not nesting, because I am too tired. Yes they are all mine, I am old enough to be their mom and I do know how it happens.

I think I am the only pregnant woman in the world who hasn't had any of these comments! Why would strangers think it's their business?

I have come to accept that my guy may actually come later than expected. Maybe we should see who can last the longest, instead of the soonest?

I don't get so bothered when men ask dumb questions about my pregnancy, but I get EXTREMELY annoyed when women who have had their own babies basically tell me I'm so fat that I must be having twins and start telling me I must be due any day once I hit about month 5. (FYI... That only used to happen to me. I'm not currently pregnant or planning to become pregnant.)

You go girl! Very well said. I'm sure you speak for a great many pregnant women who'd just love to deck those folks who ask stupid personal questions.
