Sickness has arrived!

This morning my usually early riser, Annie, was still in bed when I got up. She usually gets up early with Laura, watches some TV and then starts her school work so she can be finished early. Imagine my surprise to find her moaning in bed. I had to force her into the shower so she could clear her lungs and breathe. Then I had to drag her and the other kids to an appt. Annie had to wear one of those horrible masks. Although she is a drama queen, Annie has to be really sick to not do schoolwork or even *gasp* play on her DS.
Emma took on the role of oldest sister and shepherded the little ones for me at the appointment. She is feeling sympathy sickness and as such is taking the day off too. Mainly because I want them to rest before we all get hit with this thing.
The pediatrician is out of flu shots so none of them got one and I just got out of the first trimester so I can finally get one. A bit late now though. Its a good thing Howard got one. He can take care of us when we are all laying around moaning.
Annie asked for homemade chicken noodle soup for lunch. How could I turn her down. I made some and the other kids ate it too. Gotta up those liquids. Sadly my body decided to remind me that morning sickness doesn't have to end at 12 weeks.
Off to watch some seasonally appropriate Goosebumps with the kids and remind them that its just a show.

I'm sorry to hear that you're dealing with sickness. Is it flu? Everything seems to be going around here in Cincinnati but thankfully so far a cold is all I've gotten. I hope the rest of you don't get it.
I didn't know you were pregnant! Congratulations! I'll pray that the morning sickness passes soon!
