Second day wasn't bad at all

So today we started even later. I didn't get out of bed until after 8, but the kids were ready. Good thing I prepped everything last night. we had a little arguing about breakfast cereal but it all was sorted out and we started school by 8:45.
I learned yesterday that Emma won't be much good after lunch so today I pushed back lunch by an hour. She finished all over work by then. She did math, social studies, Language arts including a thrilling game of letter sound concentration, and art. She really likes art. She even put her picture on the fridge.
We still have no language art book for Anne so she is reading a book and writing about it every day. Anne also did art today. Her math involved money so she cut out some fake money and used that. For history she planned out a mosaic project for tomorrow. She even did two spelling lessons. Cool.
We are pretty much done with school and its not even 2. Anne still needs to read and write about it. She wants me to read with her because it is a scary part of the book. (Fablehaven)
So far at least, we can do this.
