really?

So I have been doing this 30 day shred thing for 12 days now.  Howard is on day 14.  I had a migraine one day and an unfortunate relationship with raw broccoli another.  Anyhow, here is the progress:  I haven't changed eating habits but have been shredding every evening except Sundays.  I weight the same, my abs are tighter, which isn't saying much, and my knees are killing me.  We tried to go to level 2, but apparently Jillian Michaels assumes that if you can do level 1, you are automatically gifted and can do super strenuous push ups and are suddenly coordinated.  I have never been coordinated.  I have never claimed to be so.  This is, in fact, the reason I hate dancing with a passion.  howard was laughing at my attempts to do the moves.  He agreed to go back to level 1, as level 2 made his knees hurt.
I actually enjoy the feeling of accomplishment, knowing that I got in my 20 minutes of exercise for the day.  I wish my scale would reflect some change.  I'll keep on going though, probably until May.  Because it beats sitting around watching tv with a bowl of popcorn, which is what we were doing.

Good for you for keeping up with it even when you're not seeing the particular results you want yet. That sounds like quite the workout!
