The kids are well again. Well, mostly. Laura is not feeling 100% yet. As such she has spent the morning yelling at and hitting anyone she could reach. I am pretty certain it has to do with missing her nap yesterday.
Howard turned 36 yesterday. He celebrated by staying home from church with crankypants Laura. He has another year before he is able to say, "I'm not old, I'm 37" then after that I guess he will be old. He had the dinner that he requested, followed by yellow cake with chocolate frosting and mint chip ice cream. I'd love to say that the rest of the evening went smoothly and the kids went to bed without a fuss but then I'd be lying. Also, once we finally got to bed I had that familiar icky feeling and barely made it to the bathroom in time. I can now add roast beef to the list of foods that are horrible to throw up. And stress incontinence won anoother round last night too. Sorry for the gross details, but hey, this is my blog and I can do that.
I am very thankful for the old man I am married to. He is my best friend and I can't imagine life without him. Plus he helps me clean up puke and pee. That right there makes him a keeper!
