Recent baking

So, Sarah really likes to bake.  She bakes something usually once a week. With Girl Scout bridging, our service unit also has a cake auction. The last time, Sarah submitted two cakes. This time around she started preparing early. The camping cake was her star this time.
This fire pit cake was her practice cake. She decided that it was too sweet, and it was difficult to eat.
Laura grudgingly decides to get in on the action this year, with her circuit board cake. She enjoyed spraying it with edible gold colored spray, and eating the extra candy.
Sarah’s second submission was her pizza cake. She used fondant and coconut, improvising instead of following the recipe to the exact detail.

She also made a clock face cake, but after all that baking, she decided to eat it with her siblings before the cake auction. She made a delicious Keto chocolate  cake for Howard, Emma and I, but that stayed home.

Sarah’s troop also helped plan and run the event. These girls are becoming the leaders of tomorrow!
